Week 7

This week i have done........
Some more work for my digital graphic topic as this is the work i'm most behind on,
Still learning the basic of programming E.g. planning,
All up to date with my software installing and upgrading unit and information systems
Also today i went to the new building to have a look at the stools where i asked some questions about entering the army and trainning

Week 6

This week has been more relaxing because i have just been finishing off all work thats needs to be done, this was finishing off assignments E.g. Digital Graphics and computer systems. also i have be researching more types of programming languages and why people use it for the purpose they use it for, i have also been learning more about photoshop and the tools in the program.

Week 5

This week we have learnt more about the 3 programming languages i uploaded my updated work for the unit 18 databases assignment and unit 2 computer systems assignment, printed of the work for unit 3 information stsyems and now seem to be all up to date with all work and assignments apart form unit 30 digital graphics which i am finding very hard to complete. because i find my english hard i have started study skills again which will help me with my english and language in my assignment work.

Week 4

This week we look at 3 different types of programming, took out and replaced a CPU and also looking at the data protection act, Computer misuse act and freedom of information act. also i have been looking and comparing new and old hardware looking at the benefits of each.

Week 2

This week i have learnt, the basic steps of programing witch may effect me in later life and may even something i might go into as a job. also this week i have learnt a bit more about windows 7 professional; by changing the theme and icon on the desktop for a user with poor eyesight, this helped to improve my knowledge of windows operating system.

Improving communication skillz

Keeping focused listening more to understand what point there trying to get through, so that i don't have to keep asking or repeating myself.
Thinking more before i speak, i often say the wrong thing or say something to offend someone witch i don't mean to do, also eye contact is something i lack and i need to improve.
In a group i tend to listen more then speak, taking in what people are saying but not saying much myself, so i need to improve self confidence and peak out loud more.

Week 1

This week i have started my first blog, and also started a personal development plan, i am up to date with most work aiming for a merit in all my units in ICT, also i have help clean a broken computer thinking we might find the problem, but didn't find out the problem untill yesterday when we checked the voltage running through the computer motherboard.
